Meet the WTS Team

Along with about 12 student employees, WTS staff members are experienced and at your service.

Rachel Watters, Director

Wisconsin Tech Search Rachel Watters

Rachel started working for WTS in 1998 as a student, while working on her MLIS.  She became a WTS librarian in 2002 and has been head honcho since 2011.

Weekends are spent enjoying the outdoors with her family and yellow Lab, working on real estate projects, and competing in trivia contests.  When she's not in the Madison area, she's probably on the shores of Lake Superior.

Rachel's latest passion is interval training.  Don't ask her how many burpees she did this morning.  You don't want to know.

Christy Henrikson, Librarian

Christy is originally from Minneapolis and started as a WTS librarian in 2008, after a stint as a student employee from 2004-2006.  She has a BA from St. Olaf College and her MLIS is from UW Madison.

Christy enjoys reading and riding her horse.  And being a librarian, of course she has a couple of cats.

Karen Wagner, Librarian

Karen joined WTS in 1998 after getting her MLS from UW-Madison and working at the University of Virginia.  The diverse range of WTS requests means she always has something interesting to work on.

When not untangling mis-cited references or wrangling student assistants, Karen spends her time knitting, gardening, and cycling through the Madison area with her husband.
