WTS's
New Web Site
On July 1, the WTS web site will be entirely revamped and
updated.
Besides a new look for the web site, we'll also have a new
online ordering form. The new design should make online ordering
more efficient for our clients and processing requests in our office
will be streamlined.
Some of the changes that will be coming include the use of
a user name and password which will allow you to store your
billing and shipping information, as well as preferences such
as copyright compliance. Future enhancements planned for our new system will also
allow you to track the status of your requests. For those
requests submitted via our web form, you will also be able
to see the full citations for articles requested. Please feel free to take a look at the new site. You can click
on Submit buttons all you want; no data will be sent.
Fees Simplify on July 1
On July 1, WTS fees will
change for the first time in two years.
We will eliminate the 10% surcharge on requests
from out-of-state clients and will raise our book loan, referral,
and rush fees. Our base fees will not change.
Please take a look at the new fee schedule at http://www.wisc.edu/techsearch/newfees.html.

Know
Your Copyright Costs
Ever want to know what the copyright charges will be before you
order an article?
WTS has created a new web page that details what
some publishers charge for copyright. We've also listed a few
journal titles that are particularly noteworthy. Further copyright
fees can be found by searching the Copyright Clearance Center's
Transactional Reporting Service database at http://www.copyright.com
WTS constantly strives to improve service to our clients. So we want to hear from you--what you like about our service, what you think we need to improve, et cetera. Feel free to drop us an email or give us a call. Let us know how we're doing! |
