Copyright Costs
Users of WTS services have the responsibility for proper use of photocopies under copyright law. Users are solely responsible for determining their obligations under copyright law. If a user determines that a copyright royalty payment is owed for a photocopy made by WTS, the user may make the payment or may request that WTS make the payment and bill the user.
If users choose to have WTS pay copyright royalty on their behalf, we will report the transaction to the Copyright Clearance Center (CCC). Occasionally, the CCC informs us that it is unable to obtain permission to forward a copyright royalty payment to the publisher. You may wish to contact the publisher in order to determine if copyright royalty is due.
To help you estimate your document delivery request costs, we have listed the fees for various publishers and a few journal titles. As we become aware of more significant publishers and titles, we will add them to the list. All prices are set by copyright holders and are per article unless otherwise noted. Actual fees may vary.
